Winter wonderland

That’s true! Italy is the country of sun, seaside, and wonderful summer landscapes, but don’t forget the stunning snowy Alps in winter!

This is the perfect location to celebrate Christmas festivities and….a special winter wonderland wedding.

Chris and Aleksandra did it! They organized with us a beautiful event on the Olympic Mountains in Piemonte.

Aleksandra, Polish, has always been attracted by Torino, sports, architecture and the local Piemonte cuisine. She thought that mountains could be the right scenery for her wedding day and Chris, English, decided to make her dream come true.

Weather was on their side…not with sunshine but with lots of snow that fell just a couple of days before the event on Torino and the Alps like very few times before.

All the guests coming from England, Germany and Poland absolutely enjoyed the 2000mt snowy mountains tops.

A short walk in the village lighten up by Christmas lights and there’s the little parish church where the ceremony took place with ancient organ sound in the backgrounds.

The white snow did the rest, it was the perfect frame for pictures! Bridegroom then reached their guests at the hotel ski resort where a gourmand traditional dinner was served. The reception room perfectly combined mountain rustic style and modern one with shades of white and silver that Aleksandra choose as main theme.

And later on dances in hotel disco up to late at night just like new year’s eve…

The day after a wonderful warm sun and slopes ready for a downhill race on skis!
