A corner of Scotland in Orta

Cristina and Derek fell in love with Orta immediately.

They choose it because of the sweet mixture of medieval details and strong Italian character they just wanted it as ideal location for their Italian-Scottish wedding.

 

Cristina is Italian and Derek is Scottish, they wanted a wedding recalling Scottish with a touch of “Italianity”.

 For the first time Derek, the groom was even more admired than the bride!                                                        He wore traditional kilt with his family gunn.

From this detail we started to arrange all the other: tables cards, names card, name of the tables (Scottish whiskey!), table chart and favors.

 What was really evocative was music!

Cristina arrival by rowing boat for civil ceremony in Orta town hall, has been accompanied by the sound of pipes and typical Scottish music and bridegroom first dance…a fabulous gay Gordon!

   Molto suggestiva tutta l’orchestrazione dell’evento e che meraviglia il suono della cornamusa.
   Mi piace l’idea di utilizzare i nomi di whiskey per intitolare le tavole.
   Sarebbe stato simpatico sfruttare anche i diversi tartan, magari proprio per il tableau-mariage.
   Peccato non poter vedere i dettagli….è quello che mi appassiona di più!

   Molto carina.
   Il matrimonio girava intorno ai colori del tartan relativo alla famiglia dello sposo, quindi abbiamo utilizzato solo quelli. Il tableau de mariage, le partecipazioni e i confetti sono stati mantenuti sullo stesso stile e colori.
   Potremmo pensare a una nuova pubblicazione con altri dettagli
